Example of what a book rating may look like based off of To Be Yours by C.R. Moss: BR-MR With the book rating there are some additional letters (RoEL, L, S4F, V, TW) because the story is a paranormal, romantic suspense with very descriptive sex scenes, some that boarder on kink. The heroine has memories of an abusive relationship with hardcore erotic content, and there’s adult language outside of the bedroom, and there’s weapon use. The story has an HEA. All in all, this translates to: Book Rating is for Mature Readers. This story with strong romantic elements contains language; sexual content that has a heat rating of four flames; violence; and the story has a trigger warning due to abuse.
